The nomination demonstrates the Baltic communications industry’s ability to create ideas with genuine human value and international relevance.
Founded in 1987, the Epica Awards holds a unique place in the global creative industry: it is the only international awards competition judged by journalists specialising in marketing, advertising and communications.
Its jury brings together more than 300 representatives of industry media from around the world, while the competition attracts thousands of entries from over 70 countries each year. Epica’s mission is to celebrate outstanding creativity and help agencies and studios build their reputations beyond their home markets.
A campaign that turned fear into action and empathy
Never Alone! was created at a time of growing public concern about child safety in Lithuania. Several thousand children go missing each year, yet there was no unified, hopeful message on the issue. The campaign set out to turn fear and uncertainty into action and awareness, encouraging parents to talk to their children and use technology as a practical source of support in everyday life.
The creative idea centred on the question "Do you know where your Kevin is?", a reference to the film Home Alone. It combined humour and warmth with an instantly recognisable cultural reference. The approach sparked a nationwide conversation in Lithuania, bringing together television channels, digital media, radio, influencers and civil society organisations. As a result, awareness and downloads of the Findmykids app increased significantly, while the campaign also opened up a broader public discussion about child safety.
says Lauris Spillers, Member of the Board at Alpha Agency."I am truly proud of our team’s work and this international recognition,"
"The Epica Awards nomination shows that meaningful ideas can make a real difference – both in terms of communication results and wider social change. We believe this is the most important role of modern communications. We are deeply grateful to our partners, clients and the Findmykids team for their trust and collaboration. This recognition belongs to all of us. Together, we create communication that not only connects with people, but also strengthens society and helps build a safer environment for children and families."
